Shape Memory Alloys Expert

Nimesis Technology is recognized for its unique expertise in the field of shape memory alloys, a specialization built on two decades of experience and a close partnership with the LEM3 research laboratory at the University of Lorraine. This expertise has been developed by a team composed of collaborators with deep roots in research dedicated to these innovative materials.

Shape Memory Alloys

They are often made of nickel-titanium (NiTi) or copper-based alloys (CuAlNi, CuAlBe) and have remarkable properties such as super elasticity and the ability to return to their original shape after deformation, when subjected to a certain temperature. These materials are therefore described as “smart” due to their adaptive response to environmental conditions.
